Jesus is Dead

"Jesus is Dead"

Enveloped by these human refuse, I have a child-like daydream.
It was certainly supposed to be kind and gentle.
Faces pass by that are like death masks, just a sliver of life.
What are all of these zombies with me flowing towards?

There is one man hurrying towards death, in a wriggling, packed city.
Today he broke loose into the darkness again like a piece of trash.
He couldn't hide his laughter from the countless watching eyes.
But all things considered, it was probably overly polite.

You, who will be all-knowing, what are you thinking of right now?
What you said about love and everything, no one believes it.
I wonder what is seen by the eyes of children who play innocently?
They become zombies anyway, and walk off in single file.

Enveloped by these human refuse, I have a child-like daydream.
It was certainly supposed to be kind and gentle.
Faces pass by that are like death masks, just a sliver of life.
Stuck in this crowd, I guess I'll just play out the rest of my dream.

There is one man hurrying towards death, in a wriggling, packed city.
Today he broke loose into the darkness again like a piece of trash.
He couldn't hide his laughter from the countless watching eyes.
But all things considered, it was probably overly polite.

No one believes the things he said about love.
No one believes the things he said about love.
No one believes the things he said about human love.
All I'll believe in are the things that girl says about yesterday.

Enveloped by these human refuse, I have a child-like daydream.
Enveloped by these human refuse, I have a child-like daydream.
Enveloped by these human refuse, I have a child-like daydream.
Enveloped by these human refuse, I have a child-like daydream.
Enveloped by these human refuse, I have a child-like daydream.
