Located near Mount Baker Station on busy Rainier Avenue, Ben Thanh restaurant sports a neon sign clock like many others around Seattle.
But this one has a good story.
Ben Thanh takes its name from a famous public market in Ho Chi Minh City. Like Seattle's Pike Place Market, Ben Thanh has an iconic clock which has become its symbol.
The logo to the left of the restaurant's sign is a representation of that clock. And if you look around the neon sign you'll see that a clock tower has been drawn on the wall behind it.
Fun.
